En 1942-1944. Alemania suministró ciertas cantidades de PzKpfw III a sus aliados: Italia (12 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Croacia (20 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Rumania (11 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Hungría (20 PzKpfw III Ausf. J) y Eslovaquia (5 PzKpfw III Ausf. J). La mayor parte de estos vehículos se terminaron perdiéndose durante los duros combates en el Frente Oriental.

El comprador oficial de carro de combate PzKpfw III Ausf. J también se convirtió en el gobierno turco. En 1943 llegaron a Turquía un lote de 56 PzKpfwIII Ausf. J armados con cañones KwK 39 L/60 de 50 mm. En el momento mismo de la venta el PzKpfw III Ausf. J estaba al límite de su vida operativa ya había sido superado en calibre y blindaje por los carros de combate de los Aliados, sobre todo los rusos. A pesar de ello, Ankara los incluyó como parte del 6º Regimiento Blindado, estacionado en la capital turca, manteniéndose en servicio hasta mediados de los años 50.

Por su parte, Bulgaria, utilizó torretas de PzKpfw III capturados como puestos de tiro blindados en la líneadefensiva construida en la frontera con Turquía.

In 1942-1944. Germany supplied certain quantities of PzKpfw III to its allies: Italy (12 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Croatia (20 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Romania (11 PzKpfw III Ausf. N), Hungary (20 PzKpfw III Ausf. J) and Slovakia (5 PzKpfw III Ausf. J). Most of these vehicles were lost during the heavy fighting on the Eastern Front.

The official buyer of the PzKpfw III Ausf battle tank. J also became the Turkish government. In 1943 a batch of 56 PzKpfwIII Ausf J arrived in Türkiye. armed with 50 mm KwK 39 L/60 cannons. At the time of sale the PzKpfw III Ausf. J was at the limit of its operational life and had already been surpassed in caliber and armor by the Allied tanks, especially the Russian ones. Despite this, Ankara included them as part of the 6th Armored Regiment, stationed in the Turkish capital, remaining in service until the mid-1950s.

Bulgaria, for its part, used captured PzKpfw III turrets as armored firing points in the defensive line built on the border with Turkey.
