Hoy, Guerra Abierta, retoma su actividad tras un largo periodo de inactividad y para comenzar esta nueva singladura estrenamos un nuevo apartado: Relatos de Guerra.

A finales de 1943, en medio del crudo invierno ruso, la tripulación de un PzKpfw IV Ausf H se encontraba inmersa en una feroz batalla en el frente oriental. El carro de combate, cubierto de gruesas capas de hielo y nieve, avanzaba con cautela por un denso bosque en las afueras de un pequeño pueblo. El comandante del vehículo, el experimentado Hauptmann Müller, observaba con atención el horizonte, mientras que el artillero, Obergefreiter Schmidt, estaba preparado para disparar.

De repente, una emboscada soviética rompió el silencio. Los proyectiles enemigos silbaban a su alrededor mientras el conductor, Gefreiter Wagner, maniobraba hábilmente para evitar los obstáculos y el fuego enemigo. El PzKpfw IV respondió con precisión milimétrica, su cañón de 75 mm disparó con furia, enviando proyectiles hacia los T-34 enemigos. La tripulación, enfrascada en una lucha desesperada y bajo temperaturas extremas, defendía tenazmente su posición, dejando varios carros de combate enemigos envueltos en llamas. A pesar de las adversidades, lograron repeler el ataque enemigo y avanzar hacia su objetivo, mostrando el coraje y la determinación que caracterizaban a los soldados alemanes en el Frente Oriental en ese crítico invierno de 1943.

At the end of 1943, in the middle of the harsh Russian winter, the crew of a PzKpfw IV Ausf H found themselves immersed in a fierce battle on the Eastern Front. The battle tank, covered in thick layers of ice and snow, moved cautiously through a dense forest on the outskirts of a small town. The vehicle commander, the experienced Hauptmann Müller, was carefully observing the horizon, while the gunner, Obergefreiter Schmidt, was ready to fire.

Suddenly, a Soviet ambush broke the silence. Enemy shells whizzed around them as the driver, Gefreiter Wagner, skillfully maneuvered to avoid obstacles and enemy fire. The PzKpfw IV responded with pinpoint accuracy, its 75mm cannon firing furiously, sending shells towards the enemy T-34s. The crew, engaged in a desperate fight and under extreme temperatures, tenaciously defended their position, leaving several enemy tanks engulfed in flames. Despite the adversities, they managed to repel the enemy attack and advance towards their objective, showing the courage and determination that characterized the German soldiers on the Eastern Front in that critical winter of 1943.
