Unteroffizier Georg Amon
El 18 de abril de 1943 el Unteroffizier Georg Amon logró su primera victoria al derribar a un Sptifire del Squadron nº 145 de origen polaco. El piloto derribado era el F/Lt. Wyszkowski que cayó en territorio alemán siendo hecho prisionero. Esto sucedió cuando una rotte (pareja) de Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 del 7./JG 53 interceptó a la formación aliada sobre territorio italiano controlado por los alemanes. El 25 de junio de ese mismo año fue acusado de cobardía por evitar la confrontación contra un B-17, hecho que casi le cuesta la corte marcial acusado por el mismo Adolf Galland.
Con un registro final de 9 victorias aéreas confirmadas fue derribado por el fuego antiaéreo aliado sobre Alemania el 2 de abril de 1945 siendo hecho prisionero y terminando la guerra de tal modo.
Su emblema personal corresponde a un hecho que le sucedió durante su servicio en el Mediterráneo. En una patrulla fue derribado sobre el mar siendo rescatado dos días después por el servicio de rescate marítimo alemán.

On April 18, 1943 the Georg Amon Unteroffizier got his first win by downing a Sptifire of Squadron No. 145 Polish origin. The downed pilot was F / Lt. Wyszkowski who fell into German territory was taken prisoner. This happened when a Rotte (pair) Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 of 53 7./JG ally intercepted training on Italian territory controlled by the Germans. On 25 June the same year he was accused of cowardice by avoiding confrontation with a B-17, which nearly cost him his court martial accused of the same Adolf Galland.
With a final record of 9 confirmed aerial victories was shot down by flak over Germany's ally April 2, 1945 was taken prisoner and ending the war in a way.
His personal emblem corresponds to an event that happened during his service in the Mediterranean. On patrol was shot down over the sea two days after being rescued by the German sea rescue service.
