Blindaje para ametralladora
Se trata de un artilugio desarrollado por los japoneses para su lucha en territorio chino en sus primeras etapas. Era un blindaje personal para una ametralladora y estaba equipada con ruedas para su movilidad. En la parte frontal se encontraba la ametralladora que gozaba de ángulo suficiente para cubrir un amplio campo de fuego.
Fueron bastante raros en los campos de batalla y se utilizaron de forma esporádica. Su utilidad en el campo de batalla era reducida y su producción masiva para las futuras campañas del Pacífico se canceló.
Su dotación era para un solo soldado y se construyó en dos versiones, una ligera que pesaba 122 Kg y otra pesada en la que peso se elevaba hasta los 153 Kg. La ametralladora empleada era la Type 96 de 6,5 mm.
